The sequence is already known once the clip has been read. Standard work is that sequence written down, so Manvis drafts it and hands you something to edit instead of a blank page.
The steps in the order they happen, with the timing each one actually took, the key points that matter and the reasons behind them. Written from the cycle that was read, not from memory of how the job is supposed to go.
There is no connector to keep alive, no taxonomy to reconcile every quarter and no template library to curate. The document comes from the footage, so when the process changes you bring a new clip rather than editing a document to match a floor you have not watched recently.
The test worth holding us to: after the first month, is there anything in your calendar that exists because of Manvis? If there is, we built it wrong.
Out as a training document for a new hire, in the language they read in. Or into the audit, as the standard that the floor is measured against. Same source, two destinations.
Standard work is only worth writing if it is current. Bring a clip and it will be.
